Robots by sector: what they do and where they fit
Nine sectors, the tasks robots take on in each, and the robots of our catalogue that match them. Every page ends with the site checks and the rules that apply in Europe.
IN BRIEF
Updated
Robot Distribution groups its catalogue by sector, so a buyer starts from the task, not from the machine.
Each sector page lists the tasks robots take on, the matching public robots and how deployment works.
Where no robot in our catalogue fits yet, the page says so and offers a recommendation instead.

HOW DEPLOYMENT WORKS
From site survey to after-sales.
Site survey
We walk the routes with you before any order: passage widths, door thresholds, floor gaps, slopes, lifts and doors, Wi-Fi coverage, charging and water points. The survey decides the model.
Mapping and commissioning
The robot is mapped on site, routes and no-go zones are set, and lifts, doors or call systems are connected where the model supports it.
Training
Operators learn daily use, charging and cleaning, error recovery and the emergency stop. One site lead learns to change routes and maps.
After-sales
Remote diagnosis first, then a part or a technician. Preventive maintenance and software updates can be part of a service contract or of a RaaS fee.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask before choosing a sector solution.
How does Robot Distribution choose the robots shown for a sector?
Robot Distribution matches each sector with the catalogue families that do its tasks, for example delivery and cleaning robots for hotels. Only public products appear, with the specifications published by their manufacturers.
What if my sector is not listed?
Request a quote and describe the site and the task. Robot Distribution answers with the robots that fit, including announced models, or tells you plainly that no suitable robot exists yet.
Can I try a robot before buying it?
Yes. Robot Distribution offers showroom demonstrations and short rentals from 1 day, so a team can test one robot on one floor before deciding on a fleet.
Are the robots compliant with European rules?
Every robot Robot Distribution delivers carries the CE marking and comes with its EU declaration of conformity. The Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies from 20 January 2027, and our catalogue is being reviewed model by model.
Tell us about your site. We will size the fleet.
