USE CASE · HOSPITALITY
The robot takes the large, repetitive areas, corridor carpets, the lobby, office floors, while the cleaning team handles what needs a hand: washrooms, guest rooms, finishing.

Updated
A night cleaning robot vacuums carpets and maintains hard floors in corridors, lobbies and office floors, on a programmed route, when the public is away.
The Gausium Phantas fits 65 cm aisles, vacuums for 4.5 h or dust-mops for 10 h on a charge, and runs at 60 dB or less in quiet mode, according to its manufacturer.
Robot Distribution delivers it, maps the floors, trains the team and maintains it, to buy, rent or as RaaS.
WHY
In a hotel or an office building, daily floor care means hours of repetitive work: vacuuming dozens of metres of corridor, going over the lobby, redoing the office floors. It is night or early-morning work, tiring, in jobs that are hard to fill.
The robot takes those areas on a programmed route. The cleaner or housekeeper keeps what needs judgement: washrooms, stay-over rooms, stains, under desks, finishing. Cleanliness becomes consistent from one night to the next.
HOW IT RUNS
At commissioning we map each floor and define the zones, corridor carpet, lobby tiles, office floors, with the cleaning mode for each.
After the offices close, or in the quiet hours at the hotel, it leaves its station, follows its route, runs along the skirting and steers around furniture and people.
Meanwhile the cleaner handles washrooms, kitchenettes and cluttered areas, and moves the robot to another floor if the building requires it.
The robot returns to its station. The cleaner empties the bag or tanks, checks the brushes and finishes by hand the areas the robot could not reach.

Cleaning
BEFORE INSTALLING
Low or deep-pile carpet, tiles, wood, vinyl: each floor is noted, because it sets the mode (vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing) and the right robot.
Corridors, doors and aisles between desks are measured with the furniture in place; floor cables, chair legs and housekeeping trolleys are noted.
If the robot has to change floors, we decide who moves it or whether the lift can be controlled, and where to put a charging station on each level.
Cleaning window, staff or guests present, occupied rooms nearby: the schedule and quiet mode are set accordingly.
FAQ
Yes. The Gausium Vacuum 40 is built for carpet, with 24 kPa suction, three carpet modes and an H13 HEPA filter according to its manufacturer. The Gausium Phantas and KEENON C40 also vacuum and handle hard floors.
The Gausium Phantas is rated at 60 dB or less in quiet mode. The route and hours are set to avoid sensitive areas while guests sleep.
It depends on the floor types and clutter. In real conditions, the Phantas manufacturer states 350 to 700 m²/h and the Vacuum 40 manufacturer 400 to 800 m²/h. The site survey estimates the time for your route.
No. It takes the repetitive areas; the cleaner keeps washrooms, rooms, finishing and checks. The time freed goes to the tasks the robot does not do.
USE CASES
Room deliveryA guest asks for towels, a toothbrush or a room service tray: the robot takes the order to the room door, lift included. The receptionist never leaves the desk.
Robotic cleaning of hotel poolsThe robot cleans the pool overnight or early in the morning, with no cable. Staff keep water treatment, testing and care of the pool deck.
Robotic cleaning of hotel windows and facadesThe drone washes the facade from the ground, the robot drives over the atrium glass roof or travels the tower on its cables, in short slots agreed with the hotel. Teams keep the barriers, guest information and finishing.
Hotel and resort grounds robotsThe robot mows the hotel lawns at hours when guests are not in the garden, and can clear the paths in winter. Gardeners keep the planting, pruning and presentation of the grounds.Robots, acquisition mode and delivery terms, in one written proposal.
