Hotel pool cleaning robot: a clean pool before guests arrive

The robot cleans the pool overnight or early in the morning, with no cable. Staff keep water treatment, testing and care of the pool deck.

The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra robot cleans the floor of a hotel pool at sunrise, with the loungers still empty.

IN BRIEF

Updated

  1. A pool cleaning robot vacuums the floor, walls, waterline and, depending on the model, the surface, on battery and without a cable, following a path worked out by its sensors.

  2. The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra cleans pools of up to 360 m² of floor and 0.4 to 3 m deep, with up to 10 hours of runtime on the surface, according to its manufacturer.

  3. Robot Distribution delivers it, commissions it, trains your maintenance teams and services it, to buy, rent or as RaaS.

WHY

Robotic cleaning of hotel pools

In a hotel, holiday residence or rental villa, the pool must be spotless every morning of the season. Manual vacuuming takes up maintenance staff time, often early, before the pool opens.

The robot does this cleaning on its own while the pool is closed. Water treatment and quality testing remain the establishment's responsibility; staff also keep the deck, skimmers and filtration.

HOW IT RUNS

How cleaning runs with the robot.

  1. Into the water

In the evening or at dawn, the technician puts the robot in the water and picks the mode: floor, walls, waterline or surface. The Mammotion SPINO S1 Pro cleans floor, walls and waterline with 23 sensors, according to its manufacturer.

  2. Autonomous cleaning

The robot covers the pool and picks up leaves, sand and fine particles: the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max filters down to 3 µm and also cleans slopes and underwater platforms, according to its manufacturer.

  3. Waterline and surface

The robot scrubs the waterline, where sun cream and dirt build up, then skims the surface on models that offer it. The Dreame Z1 Pro cleans the waterline horizontally, according to its manufacturer.

  4. Removal and care

Before opening, the technician lifts the robot out, empties and rinses the filter baskets and puts it on charge: 4.5 hours for the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra, 4 hours for the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max, according to their manufacturers.

BEFORE INSTALLING

What the site survey checks before commissioning.

  1. Pool size and depth

Area, length and depth set the model and number of robots: the Dreame Z1 Pro covers up to 200 m² at 0.5 to 2.5 m depth, the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max up to 300 m², according to their manufacturers.

  2. Finish and shape

Concrete, tile, liner or fibreglass, steps, underwater ledges and corners are noted to check grip and the areas to finish by hand.

  3. Opening hours

Cycles are timed to the pool's closing hours, allowing for charging time between cycles.

  4. Storage and charging

A sheltered place for the dock or charger near the pool and the handling of the robot are planned: the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra weighs 13.2 kg, according to its manufacturer.
