USE CASE · RESTAURANTS
Customers order on the screen, the robot arms make the drink in front of them and set it at the pick-up point. All that is left is refilling coffee, milk and cups, and monitoring the kiosk remotely.

Updated
A robot barista is an autonomous kiosk where one or two robot arms make espresso, cappuccino, latte or iced drinks to order, without a barista.
The Elite Robots RoboBarista serves up to 60 cups an hour and offers more than ten coffee recipes, hot or iced, according to its manufacturer.
Robot Distribution delivers it, installs it, sets it up with your recipes, trains the person in charge of refills and maintains it, to buy, rent or as RaaS.
WHY
In a head office, a station or a shopping arcade, coffee demand is high but uneven: a peak in the morning, another after lunch, little in between. Staffing a counter with a barista all day is expensive, and a vending machine offers neither the same choice nor the same preparation.
The robot barista runs the counter from opening to closing. The robot arms reproduce the barista's movements, down to latte art on the dual-arm versions, and the preparation becomes a show customers stop to watch.
HOW IT RUNS
On the kiosk's ordering screen, they pick their drink, size and options, then pay with the payment method installed.
The robot arms go through the barista's movements in front of the customer: extraction, milk, pouring. On the AUBO Dual-Arm Latte Art Coffee Robot, two arms draw the latte art.
The drink is set at the pick-up point and the kiosk moves on to the next order.
One person refills coffee, milk and cups at set times. Stock and activity are monitored remotely, and the RoboBarista handles routine cleaning automatically.

Delivery and service
BEFORE INSTALLING
The kiosk takes 1 m × 1 m for a single-arm RoboBarista and about 1.5 m² for the AUBO, according to their manufacturers, plus room for the queue and refill access.
The RoboBarista draws 2 kW (3 kW peak) with one arm and 4 kW (5 kW peak) with two arms according to its manufacturer: the dedicated circuit is checked on site.
Water supply, drainage and a network connection for ordering, payment and monitoring: their position often decides where the kiosk goes.
About 200 kg for a single-arm RoboBarista, 400 kg for the dual-arm one, 370 to 400 kg for the AUBO according to their manufacturers: the delivery path, doors and floor are checked.
FAQ
Up to 60 cups an hour for the Elite Robots RoboBarista; 50 to 70 seconds per cup for the AUBO Dual-Arm Latte Art Coffee Robot, according to their manufacturers.
Not to serve. One person refills the consumables: for the RoboBarista a refill takes 5 minutes and covers 100 cups with one arm or 40 cups with two; for the AUBO, about 80 cups per refill, according to their manufacturers.
More than ten hot or iced coffee recipes for the RoboBarista; for the AUBO, hot or iced Americano, hot or iced latte, cappuccino, flat white, hot milk and printed latte. Recipes are set with your coffee at commissioning.
That is checked model by model. The AUBO's ordering was originally designed for Chinese payment apps and its adaptation to European payment is still to be confirmed: we validate this before any order.
