OVERVIEW
The TinyLineMarker Pro X in detail
TinyLineMarker Pro X, from Danish maker TinyMobileRobots (founded in 2015 and based in Malling), is a three-wheel robot that paints pitch lines by satellite positioning. According to the manufacturer, it combines GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou without a base station, paints at up to 1 m/s with 1–2 cm accuracy, drives at up to 2 m/s between lines and carries an 18.9 L paint tank. It weighs 35 kg, measures 740 × 920 × 720 mm and runs 5 hours per charge, with 8 hours to recharge.
Clubs, schools and municipalities use it to mark and re-mark pitches from more than 200 field templates, and the manufacturer quotes about 25 minutes for an 11-a-side football pitch. Points to check before buying: open sky over each pitch for satellite reception, since stands and tall trees can degrade it; the paint and dilution you already use; overnight charging access given the 8-hour charge, and who will run it from the tablet each week.
Compared with the FJD PaintMaster Pro, the Pro X is the lighter machine (35 kg against 73.4 kg without paint, according to the manufacturers) and needs no base station; the PaintMaster brings a larger tank, adjustable line width and a longer runtime. Robot Distribution can demonstrate it on one of your pitches and train the grounds staff who will use it.
