The Saite Disinfection Robot is a hospital logistics robot by Saite. Key figures published by the manufacturer: dry fog + UV, self-disinfection and 10.1-inch screen. Robot Distribution supplies it in Europe to buy, rent or as RaaS, with its EU declaration of conformity. Price on request.
OVERVIEW
Hospital infection control is the sole purpose of the Saite Disinfection Robot, built by Guangzhou-based Saite, a company founded in 2017. According to the manufacturer, it comes in two versions: an infection-control robot that also disinfects its own body, and a standard disinfection robot. Both combine dry-fog spraying with UV disinfection and are operated from a 10.1-inch touchscreen, with face recognition and IC-card access to control who starts a cycle, and 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi communication.
Optional modules add audio consultation, infrared temperature measurement and a delivery box, so the robot can carry items between infected and clean areas as well as treat them. It is intended for hospitals: wards, isolation areas and the corridors linking them. Before deployment, the hygiene team should define the disinfection protocol and which rooms must be empty during dry-fog and UV cycles, check door widths, lifts and floor transitions on the route, confirm network coverage and decide which staff are authorised to operate it.
Choosing between the two versions comes down to circulation: the self-disinfecting infection-control version is meant for a robot that moves back and forth between contaminated and clean zones, while the disinfection version suits scheduled treatment of rooms. It is the only healthcare model in this group. Robot Distribution can set up a trial on a pilot ward together with your infection-control team.
