OVERVIEW

The Universal Robots UR12e in detail

The UR12e follows the UR10e in the Universal Robots e-Series, with a 12.5 kg payload over a 1300 mm reach. According to the manufacturer, the 33.5 kg arm repeats to ±0.05 mm, moves its tool at up to 4 m/s and mounts in any orientation on a Ø190 mm base. Like the rest of the series, it offers 20 configurable safety functions certified to EN ISO 13849-1 PLd Cat. 3.

Its long envelope fits case palletizing, packaging lines and machine tending where one robot serves two machines or a whole pallet. Check the pallet height and pattern against the reach, the gripper weight against 12.5 kg, and whether a lift column is needed to cover the top layers. The arm is IP54, so keep it out of direct coolant spray.
