OVERVIEW

The LimX Oli in detail

LimX Oli is a full-size general-purpose humanoid from LimX Dynamics, a Shenzhen company founded in 2022, offered here in its Oli EDU version for research, manufacturing and commercial service work. According to the manufacturer, it stands 165 cm tall, weighs up to 55 kg with battery, walks at up to 5 km/h and carries 3 kg per arm, with 7-DOF arms, joints reaching 150 N·m peak torque and a quick-swap 9,500 mAh battery.

Its main audience is labs and R&D teams working on locomotion, manipulation and embodied AI, plus companies piloting humanoids in workshops or customer-facing spaces. According to the manufacturer, the robot separates motion-control and perception computing (157 TOPS), with an optional 275 TOPS compute backpack, and carries an IMU, depth cameras at head, chest, wrists and hips, and LiDAR. An open SDK and URDF model let teams develop in simulation before running on hardware. Before buying, plan for a runtime of about 1.5 h per battery according to the manufacturer, a safe test area with fall protection, and staff able to program through the SDK.

Within this batch it is the only complete humanoid: the AUBO RP25FN suits teams designing their own joints, and the UBTECH uKit Explore serves classroom teaching, while Oli is for those who want a working platform from day one. Robot Distribution offers demonstrations and short-term rental for trials, with operator training before handover.
