YuMi IRB 14000 is ABB’s dual-arm collaborative robot: two seven-axis arms on a single torso, designed to assemble small parts side by side with people at a workbench. According to the manufacturer, each arm handles 0.5 kg over a 559 mm reach, repeats to 0.02 mm and moves at up to 1.5 m/s. The whole unit weighs 38 kg, stands on a 399 × 496 mm footprint and contains an IRC5-based controller, so there is no separate cabinet.
It is built for table-top small-part assembly, electronics, laboratory automation, education and research, where two hands working together can replace dedicated fixtures. The 0.5 kg payload per arm restricts it to light components, and the IP30 rating to clean, dry environments. Plan the work area around its table mounting and 100–240 V AC supply, and consider the single-arm IRB 14050 if one arm is enough.
